#LetsRead Campaign & Challenge
This school year, let's challenge our scholars to read 2-4 books a month. Set aside 15 - 20 minutes a day, and schedule that time as a reading block.
If you run out of books, you can borrow one from us or build your child's library by ordering from clubs.scholastic.com.

#LetsRead Challenge
Rules
To participate, send a request to library@perfectwillvi.com. Participants receive a notebook to keep track of their book summaries. New challenges start on the first of each month, and book summaries must be sent to us for the book to count. Simply send us a picture of the scholar's handwritten summary via the Brightwheel app. For the mini report, have them answer four questions: (1) What is the title of the book?, (2) Who are the main characters?, (3) Where is the setting?, and (4) What happened in the story? Parents can assist younger readers. If your scholar is reading a book that was not borrowed from our library, complete this form to track the book.
Points Breakdown
Borrow a PW book - 2 pts
Write a PW book summary - 3 pts
Write a non-PW book summary - 3 pts
Complete a monthly challenge - 3 pts
Send a picture of student reading the book - 2 pts
Scholars with the most points at the end of the month will receive a special prize during the Explorers Club meeting.
