Community Classroom

Through funding from the Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle's Captains of Education Grant Program, students in kindergarten through third grade have an opportunity to participate in our Community Classroom at no cost. In addition, the funding covers the supplies that the students will use. To help ensure that students who need the intervention the most benefit, students must be enrolled in a public elementary school and be referred by their school counselor. Funding for this service ends May 2025. Visit, or subscribe to, our event calendar to learn when the next Community Classroom will be held.

The project is slated to be piloted at the Juanita Guardine Elementary school, and funding will allow a cohort of students to attend a free, 4-week summer academy in June 2025 and receive follow-up services during the Fall 2025 semester.
